I've heard of digital audio, there one of those brands that you can only find on the net,but everybody thinks there the best in the world.

Well the ones i got now are real good. I paid 150 for them, and I'm selling them tomorrow for 200, and getting the the 2 digital audio 600 series and a1800 watt amp for 175, so I'm breaken clean with bigger subs +$25:thumbsup: Yea this is an old thread i brought up, but i havent been here for a while(yea, wooo hooo) because i have been busy and my OGT tests are here now(Ohio Graduation Tests) and iv been real busy.

First these flashy band pass subs with the plexi are mostly about flash and BOUM. Look at all the cheapo chrome used.

You better get one JL Audio woofer in a sealed 1-1.5cu ft box driven by a quality amp than this thing. The JL Audio will be much tighter, reach deeper and provide you with great sub bass qulaity.

I know subs(have 17 subs home, yes 17 subs) and these cheapo flash boxes come last when sound quality is paramount. In fact I would stay away from band pass designs as thye cover a very narrow freq range and often(too often)sound one notey.

For quality subs JL Audio is the big cheese, and you do not need a W7 series to have quality subsonics.

17 subs? What? Metamucil not getting it done? :OMG:

Honestly youd be better off with the RFZ's from Rockfords. Buy one get one free. There not competition subs but they bang pretty decent for the buck. Cheap subs are just like Cheap Rc's. They just dont work. If your going to spend the dough, your best off buying something decent that youll be happy with. Not something that had more time put into the looks than the sound.

the cowpower man is absolutely correct about the jl stuff.I've been an installer for 8 years now and have work for a jl audio dealer for 6 of them and jl is hands done by far the best sounding most efficient subs on the market no matter what anyone says. w7's are awesome but contrary to what people might think or will tell u they are a sound quality sub and not an spl sub even though they do turn out some good numbers.aj where u from? i do run a car stereo busines on the side from my day job i might be able to help u out on some equipment.for around 600.00 maybe even a little less i can get u a jl 500/1 and 2 subs. i personaly have 2 jl 13" w1's in my truck with the 500/1 in a 6 cubic ft ported box tuned to 32hz and it slams like u wouldnt beleive, granted it is in the extended cab of a nisan pickup though.i can get u demnsions on a ported box for any jl sub if u need it. also that price isnt with shiping.let me know if i can help.regardless of what anyone says alphasonic, visonic, digital audio, etc, etc, all those brands are cheap fleamarket crap and will not last or sound very good.hell even kicker blows balls now, ever since they outsourced their labor to over seas they have fallin to crap.

amiaudio,

JL Audio's track record is a near flawless one,the quality, execution and know how of JL is someting to look up to. No bling, just woofers tah mean business.

I am going to get the JL Audio Gotham for home use, uses two of thier top of the line 14" W7 type woofers,an exquisite piece of gear.
Next to JL Audio I would put Dynaudio, their quality and now established record of elite speaker drivers is legendary.

Build a system around Dynaudio Esotar tweeters,Esotec mid-mass drivers and JL Audio W7 woofers and you have the tools to make a serious statement in sonic excellence.

I had JL's and they were decent subs. I like Kicker suboowfers alot more myself. Best subs I've EVER owned were Digital Dynamics. They will blow any sub out of the water. Hands down. Juggernauts are awesome as well. DD and juggs aint probably something Id wanna roll with in my daily driver though. I used to do alot of Competing when I was fresh out of high school, and we went with DD's with memphis amps.. Took 3rd at nationals in nashville. Was a fun summer!
