I'd suggest a new exhaust also.

That thing looks pretty badass! Drop that EZ start and you'd really be rockin. Let us know how she performs!

Definately gonna drop the exhaust. Gonna have to custom make a rear stinger header. Got the MIP stinger pipe, just need a header to support it. Unfortunately it isn't made by anybody yet.

u guys think that is nice, u should see Roys(owner of RD racing products) nitro rustler. totally pimped chromed. also Pulsar Dynamic has custom black anodized parts which look sweet.

His ride is polished aluminum, never seen his ride chromed out. Unless he just had that done. Also, all the products you see on my ride are from RD.

nobody mentioned electronics. if you have the regular mx3 wiht the 2 servos it came with you may want to buy one that delievers more torque for steering.

Actually MIP makes a stinger kit for the Rustler.....I know they did for the Pro .15, but I'm not sure about the 2.5 with the rear exhaust. The only problem with that is your rear shock tower. Their stinger kit comes with a rear shock tower so the exhaust runs though can run through it and it provies a support for the pipe. So your nice graphite piece would have to go.

I'd suggest not going with the stinger route at all and look for a better side mount system, like the THS off-road 1/10 setup.

Maxx Trooper:
I thought you meant that...haha...just kidding. Roy does have a sweet ride. After a couple others I've see I was definately inspired. I went with his carbon fiber to break away from all the other all aluminum rides.

Christian:
LOL...hopefully I get those A-Arms in before this thread drifts away. May have to start a part 2 if that happen.

Thanks for the complements guys...as far as the electronics go I am gonna get a Hitec 645, gotta wait until the wife lets me...already put more than I wa supposed to into it. Just throw the receipts away! LOL

Ok, now I'm serious about the pull-start. Removed the EZ-Start and electrical for it. Got the correct 90 degree carb for my motor saver.

Definately a difference without it. It also cuts down on the weight. All those wires were an eye-sore...hahaha.

OK, couldn't wait any longer for the a-arms, pull-start and glow ignitor should be here any day!

Haven't drilled the lid yet, getting to that tomorrow...maybe...
