New motor for T-maxx

We are looking for a very dependable motor for our T-maxx, but we want to keep the traxxas starter set up.:\ Any suggestions? And we would like to keep the cost down.

O.S. .21 is a great engine. Just purchased one as a beater/practice engine for my 1/8 buggy. Great low end, decent high end, takes huge amounts of abuse and friggin screams.

OS .21 turbo button 3 port. 149.99 on ebay.

Must not have been a 21 TM then, because they go for 200+. The 21 TM is a drop-in, minus the exhaust manifold, but does come with one. I just put a 18tm in my maxx and my THS pipe combo hooks right up to it, even though THS sells it as a trx 2.5/3.3 exhaust. Your clutch will also hook right up.
