All sales are final, must donate to this guy!! How was your LSN on the 454, mine is pretty hard to turn and has been this way from day 1, hoping it's not crossthreaded or anything

Mine was the exact opposite, it was so loose that it would turn on its own and lean it self way out! One of the reasons I ditched it.

Thought I killed the LST yesterday, bad landing sent me into a huge puddle that came up to the chassis (I let out a bad word). I was a good distance from it so I decided to drive out while I was running to it, as it was getting out it stalled (I let out another bad word). I grabbed it by the roll bar and started shaking all the water off, I threw my ignitor on and started it up. It took a sec to start and them bogged down and died, did this a couple times and then I realized it was empty. Threw some fuel in it and fired right up, ran a couple tanks through it, just to dry it out, and didn't have a single problem. I was lucky as hell. I also got the LSN turning easier, still harder than the TRX ones, I pulled the needle out and put some Green Slime on the O-ring and threads. I still need to tune it a little better, I'm pretty rich on the low end.

Wow didoged a bullet there! just watch for rust now :) I love my Losi's Like half of my kits are Losi's and the XXL and LST2 are my favorites.....Then again I have built my 8ight and I havent bought an 8ight T yet either heh.

You got lucky there! I flipped my tmaxx into a pond once, (don't ask.) I would wipe down all the metal parts with some wd40 to inhibit corrosion.

Yea, it got a WD-40 wipe down when I got home lol. This was the first time I have ever actually been a little scared about one of my rigs, I hydroplaned my Nitro Rustler across a decent sized puddle and flipped landed upside down in the water and laughed then there was the time I had a runaway that went under a moving car and BARELY missed the tire I got big eyed and laughed, but this time I was actually :OMG: Then on to better news, I upset a guy with a T-Maxx, he had just put an OS .21TM on it and we were running them behind the LHS. He would get the jump because I'm still tuning my low end, but I would run him down real quick. I'm pretty sure if he starts messing with gearing he'd be more competition, but all he would say is "man that thing hauls" my response was "yea, not too bad for a 13lb truck". He was also impressed with the way the LST tumbles and cartwheels across a field at high speeds with such grace and beauty.

Well, I just had to get a run in today....should've waited. I was doing pretty good, just running up and down a dirt path and jumping at the end. I was getting some good distance and hadn't hit second yet, this made me think I could clear the road I was jumping.....NOPE. Missed it by this much, I ended up landing just far enough to hit the curb as I landed so the chassis took the hit and not the tires. I haven't torn into it but just a quick look showed that my front bulks are shot along with the front lower chassis, the frame rails, rx box, and engine brace. It flexed enough to pull a screw out that was holding my roll bar on. I will tear into it tomorrow and throw some pictures up.

I hate those days, you don't plan to run your rigs but end up taking one out just so you can get a quick fix and something always breaks. Hopefully you get her up and running soon.

Yea, I brought a buddy with me and it never fails, if you have someone there watching you try to push the limits and end up breaking something. I don't think I have ever come back from a bash session without something broken whenever he comes to watch.

I had just torn it down and cleaned it yesterday and when I put it back together I used a little extra locktite so I guess I'll get to see how it was doing.

Well here are some pics, looks like I'll be hitting Ebay for the parts.

I don't think so, one of the screws holding it on was pulled out but it all lines up. When I get the new chassis I will be able to tell for sure but I doubt it bent any. It looks like it will be pretty cheap to fix, thanks to the chop shops on ebay. I am going to message the seller and see if I can get a better deal on the shipping, it's only $0.30 cheaper than all the items.

Yea, mine had a few crazy tumbles and cartwheels along with jumps gone bad that ended up landing on the front or rear bumpers and nothing ever broke or was tweaked. I had even hit a curb WOT before but it was at an angle so it just bounced off and cartwheeled but this time I hit the curb WOT while landing, being as the suspension was compressed the impact was rich on the front bulkhead. I guess when a 13lb truck goes from 40ish to 0 mph something is going to give, just happened to be my truck and not the curb.

Well hit up n ebay chop shop and got an assembled chassis, both bulkheads w/braces and pins, rx box, screw set w/ stock tools, all this for $28 shipped but I had $10 in my PP from refunding my shipping so I only spent $18 on it today. It should be here the same time as my Cow RC order, so it will be getting a nice lube job.

That's a good deal. I got a fully assembled xxl chassis for my lst2 for 7 bucks off eBay. There are some great deals to be found on there. Let us know when you get her up and running again.

Yea, the chassis was $2.50 but they get you with shipping, I had $15 worth of parts and $13 for shipping.

The seller also has a rewards program so I am getting a refund to my account, a whole $.28, straight ballin'.
