you gotta have upper links man, they are there to set the clock of the axle and hold it in place....looking good though...and it might be kinda hard to mount them since its so tall with the axial crawler shocks on there, if it were me i would either run the shocks on full droop or run them on semi droop, semi would drop the chassis back down prolly a good half inch or so and droop would be an inch or more!

links

well i figured out my problem the upper links are sopposed to attach to the trans mount and the guy i bought it off of on ebay did not send me the skid plate so now i am waiting on him to reply.

yeah you need uppers, you can just drill new holes on the chassis if you want and attach your uppers where you want them too...

Yep, ya definately need upper links. Are you converting an AX10 to an SCX10? Those wheels are 2.2, the SCX comes with 1.9s, but the chassis looks like the SCX10 chassis

need upper links and your shocks look a bit long probly goin to sit tall

Got some more done

well got the uppers on ended up drilling holes in the frame and mounted them where i felt. Need to get a body before i can get much more done i will post some pics when i get a chance!!

yeah thats a good way to do it man, just drill your own spots out and go from there....any idea on what body your gonna use? remember that the wheel base of the body might make you have to move your links again.

That is one big reason that i am really enjoying building this scale build because i can do things to it that are like no other!!I am thinking about the the 1/8 scale New bright Jeep 4 door i found one at toys r us. thats y i can't really go any farther till i get the body.

good choice! they are perfect sized bodies for 2.2 tires in my opinion, mine fit perfect with flat irons and mud slinger 2.2's. its a nice wide body.

i dont know what links your runnning but the stock wheelbase of a scx10 is to short for the 4 door jeep body
