I guess I am off topic with this question but I did buy this batteries for my nitro. I bought 4 AA duracell nimh recharable batteries and they loose like 90% of there charge in one week. I'm assuming I just got bad batteries?

I charged them up probably maybe not even 7 days ago and they are almost dead. They weren't even in any electrical device or anything to loose the charge so I'm assuming it must mean I got bad batch

You might be able to take them back if you got a bad batch, I would recommend you getting a hump pack rechargable nimh/LiPo battery for your receiver, JMO though.

4aa nimh cells don't put out enough voltage to work well with RC's. They only put out 1.2V per cell at a stable rate. You may see them charge up to 6V, but it will drop quickly then hold closer to 5V for a decent amount of time. This is why "hump" packs, or many packs designed for RC have 5 cells in them. They will peak out around 7V, but drop down closer to 6V and hold close to there for the duration as they die.

How do you know your losing 90%?

I have noticed that rechargeable cells don't hold a charge like alkaline cells do. I just make it a habit to charge everything the night before I go out, then peak them all first thing in the mornign as I'm getting ready.

I have 2650mAh Duracells and have the same problem. I use 8 in my TX. When charged they have a combined 11.4v but drop below 8v in about 3 days, used or just sitting. Very unhappy with them,I have better longevity from my 700mAh Sony NiCd.
