I've had several problems with my current bank (Chase) and am just about fed up with them. The final straw is of course the loss of my green status due to them reversing the charges. Not only does that make me look like a jerk but when I contacted them about it, they were rude and inconsiderate and they could not answer my questions. Said I would havae to call back on Monday. What good is 24/7 service if it's not really there? I need suggestions on a good Nationwide bank as I travel a lot?

I used national city for years, but then PNC just bought them out, so now I'm PNC. Clean and easy to use online interface that allows me to easily keep an PP account to transfer funds to from my savings or primary checking when I need something.

I would recomend Well Fargo as well as SunTrust. Both have been very good to us and I am more than satisfied with them.

I use Wells Fargo.

Not sure if they are country wide, but i love regions. I have a loan through Citizens as well, and they seem to be on top of their game as well.

I recently returned from an overseas stint in which I worked with CHASE. I am legaly bound to not say a lot of things, but seriously- if you have to choose a bank I would recommend doing your research. There is a FB group i sub to: http://www.facebook.com/pages/I-hate-Chase-Bank/214751132378

Stay away from CHASE if at all possible. IMO All banks are out for a profit, it's expected- but some are much more vehemently than others. I banked with Navy fed for years, never once had an issue. When I became an employee I switched everything over immediately and stayed there less than 4 months. I then changed to Wachovia, which has since been purchased by wells fargo and understandably there have been some mishaps with the conversion to wells fargo, but overall a decent baking experience.

I'm going to do some research on Wells. Thanks for the input fellas! The local Chase branch at home in Oklahoma was real nice and helpful but for the most part I feel like a dollar when I walk into most of their branches.

I used to use small local banks but that came to a hault when I started traveling. It sucks when you lose your debit card 1000 miles from home or have 5k + in your wallet and nowhere to deposit it. I get nervous with a lot of cash. I've got bad habbits!

The day Wells Fargo closed my branch and moved it to a super market was the day I withdrew all my $$ from them. Piss on Wells Fargo.

I had Home Savings which became WAMU which of course is now Chase. So far I have not had any issues, but I hate big banks so I am sure I will be dumping them eventually.

like most i avoid the bigger banks. I use a credit union (affinity federal credit) for my daily banking needs and couldnt be happier. great service with a ton of local branches for when i actually need a branch.

Family members use Wells Fargo and for the most part have been happy with the service.
