Never Again

I am never gluing tires again. I quit for a year or so and went to all beadlocks. I decided to try and glue a set tonight and now i have a crappy looking set of brand new wheels and tires and glue all over my hands.

i have been watching videos and it seems like most people only glue the side of the bead. I have been gluing the bottom of the bead.

Either way its beadlocks for everything from now on.

adding insult to injury. The backspacing on the wheels won't work with my current knuckles.



just put 4 brand new tires and 4 brand new rims in the trash. i have nothing to put them on and looking at them is only going to aggravate me.

might swing by the lhs tomorrow and see what they have.

Yeah I know what ya mean . I needed some new rims and tires for my Ofna buggy and thought ... How hard can it be ? I threw them in the garbage also . Picked myself up some maximizer beadlocks (17mm hex) and havent looked back .

you can feel free to donate those junk wheels and tires to me... I'm sure i have got some junk rig they will look great on. lol. but seriously thou, i will be more than happy to pm you my address.

i dug them out of the trash today because my buggy has a center diff so it can have a different tire size front and rear. I put them on the rear and have been burning them out like crazy. I am just gonna smoke them down on pavement and then toss them. That losi glue sure does hold great. They aren't even thinking about coming off and i am turning them into pizza cutters.

i love the maximizers. i wonder if i can put 17mm on the mini ste....
