I have a couple questions. I have an MX-3 standard radio.

Can I use a synthesized XXtra reciever with it?

Is it really worth it to go synthesized?

What advantages are their to it besides no crystals, if any?

Does it automatically change frequincies or do you do it manually?

Thanks so much.

I have an MX-3 standard radio.

Can I use a synthesized XXtra reciever with it? Yes as long as you set the rx to whatever channel crystal you have in the tx
Is it really worth it to go synthesized? Depends, race or bash? If you race, then yes, IMO it's worth it to either go synth or DSM

What advantages are their to it besides no crystals, if any? Having all 30 channels without having 60 crystals (1 for rx, 1 for tx) which can be a little pricey too

Does it automatically change frequincies or do you do it manually? No, you have to manually set the channel

Good response Jet...But that yellow Is over the top.
I had to put on my shades to read it. LOL

much better in dark mode Jet. I agree with your response. I have the XS3 and the RS300. Good investment to do. if you go where there are a lot of other racers or drivers.

If you a basher, you can also consider a good justification for going with DSM by the fact that it has better range. You can run probably double the distance away than what you can with 75mHz FM.
