I been looking at this option and if possible it would be cool to get some positive feed back onto weather or not it's a good set up to run

ESC: Novak GTB Competition Brushed/Brushless Electronic Speed Control

MOTOR: Trinity Nemesis Modified Brushless Motor (8.5T)

Can that motor run with that ESC properly ? and it would be cool to get some heads up before i buy the set up

thanks in advance

This forum is lame never any one helping . well I'm done with this forum and wouldn't recommend this forum to any one .

delete my account please .

wow dude way to be, you couldn't wait more than two days? the site is still kinda new so people aren't here every single second like you but if you feel you really want to leave then go ahead and have a fun time! rcsct and rcnt are the 2 best forums you will ever see so i guess you were too ignorant to notice that! sorry, as the combo can't help : )

Personally, I think RCSCT is the best RC forum around. The people are nice even though its not overloaded with users, like RCG. And there is WAY less sketchy language.
If you want to go that is fine with me, but in a bit there should be more action. Just my 0.2 cents,
Jump-err...

can't please everyone. The site may be slow, and may not be full of abundant knowledge, but its still relatively new. I'm happy with the site, and if we had some decals, id have them on my truck. With the expected 40+ SCT's at this weekends kick off of 323 speedway in Philadephia, Tennesee (not PA), seeing the forum decal would be nice.

The GTB will run that motor without issue. I have heard good things about Trinity's new Nemesis motors, but have never used one personally. Trinity products are typically very high quality, I have no reason to believe that their new line of brushless motors are any different.

Having said that, I have almost exclusively run LRP ESCs in my cars since I got back into RC and have been extremely satisfied with them. The only exception is I bought a Tekin RS Pro which has a new "turbo" feature; with a Tekin 13.5 or the new LRP X-12 13.5, performance of an 8.5 can be had with very low motor temps. The LRP SXX line has a similar type of "turbo" feature, but the Tekin's is much more pronounced. At our local track, the Tekin setup has been consistently running at the front and winning in the mod buggy class.

ESC choice is kind of a black art. Everyone has their own preferences; I know guys that swear by Novak, and others that swear they're junk. The same goes for LRP, Tekin, Castle, etc. Novak has technical specs on their website listing motor limits for their ESCs, and the vast majority of the time motors from different manufacturers are interchangeable, provided you stay within the manufacturers motor allowances.

NICE ^^ thanks very helpful advise i really appreciate it :thumbup1:

and as for the negative reply i wrote lol i only did that cause i was bored and wanted to see how long and how many people will reply to a negative comment cause i see people reply quick to drama threads then other threads lol
