ok no one so far has been able to help me with this yet. My problem is when i trun right the servo doesn't turn enough andwhen i turn left it turns too much til i can go no more and then resets itself or suttin like that and turns right. i dunno how to fit this and the trim control doenst work for some reason.i dont know how to fix this and i can't change the position of the servo arm because then it wont go straight. I dunno if its the servo or the reciever by the way i have a Kyosho Ultima ST w/perfex servos i really need some help cause i wanna use this thing since it broke a while back and i just got around to fixing it i fixed what was wrong now the servos are giving me trouble i just wanna get it fixed.

Have you tried to take the linkage off the servo, turn on the power and turn both ways to see if the travel is equal in both directions (without the linkage on it) you might just need a new servo, sorry if it sounds corny, but just trying to help

I'm not familiar with the Ultima, but maybe this will help. You can try adjusting the length of the rod that connects the servo arm and the steering arm (or whatever the Ultima uses). If the Ultima is set up like most cars, you need to make sure that these 2 arms are perfectly parallel.

first check your linkage then unplug the servo from one port and plug it in anoter will it work correctly then . Yes OR No.
If YES then Reciever is bad .
If NO then the servo is bad.

If it turns too far one way and not enough the other way it sounds like you need to pull the servo saver off the servo (I am assuming it has one, however I am not familiar with this truck), center the servo, straighten the wheels with all the linkage still attached, then reattach the servo saver to the servo. Make sure your trim is at 0 when you do this, or it will still be off.

I've already tried centering it and all but the other problem that i mentioned above is that the trim does not work either that is why I'm leaning toward thinking the reciever is bad and I've taken the servo apart trying to see if there is anything internally wrong but there is nothing so would the reciever be causing any of this??

I'm with NCNitro on this one. If you get normal range of motion from the servo without linkages attached, then you may have the servo's control arm on the servo head without it being properly centered.

It could be a trim issue or a receiver issue, but I would stick with recentering the servo. If that does not work, mark the servo head with some whiteout (like a pointer mark) and run the servo through its paces. Note where that mark settles out. If it is not where it started, then you most likely have a gearing issue within the servo. If it remains steady, then find the neutral point of the servo head...apply the servo arm or control wheel which ever you use and adjust your linkages in the manner that NCNitro mentioned.

well i bought Atronics RX TX and servos so I'm not worryin bout it anymore and have replaced the Ultima with a T-MAXX so its a backup now neways
