I am leaving in a couple hours and i need help fast!! I have it idling so low that its dieng, yet the spur/tires still spin a pretty good speed when i pick it up. It also moves forward slowly when its on the ground. WHATS UP WITH THIS?? how do i fix it?? thanx for your help!!

Sounds like you may be using the idle adjust screw to compensate for a lean lsn. Try richening the low speed needle up a bit. Then readjust you idle screw.

thank you i will try!!! and if anyone else has an idea while i try this, bring em in!

Nope, that'd be about the only thing I can think of. The RC10GT does not use clutch springs (if you are using stocker clutch shoes) so it's not like the springs are bad. If you are, however, using the 4-n-1 combo clutch from MIP, you have to make sure the spring is on there and that the beveled side is facing away from the flywheel or it will grab the CB.

Seconding what MW said; The stock GT clutch uses either 2 or 4 shoes, depending on the setup. You would be very wise to get an MIP 4n1 clutch. It's alot like the tmaxx clutch, in that it uses two pins, and has a spring to pull the shoes in at idle.

While you're at it, get an MIP heavyweight flywheel. It allows for super-low idles.

I have that setup on my GT, and love it.

To answer a potential question; the 4n1 part of the name comes from the 4 possible mounting positions. You can adjust it for low idle, or for always-on racing (dirt oval), unlike the stock shoes, where you'd have to cut the shoes for the proper weight.

That's another thing you can try; take a little off the shoes. Only about half-way between the little 'holes'.
