Can someone who is good at these 2wd drifting cars rxplain how the front steering work, I'm doing a 4wd to 2wd conversion and I need some explaning

Converting from 4WD to 2WD is extremely impractical, because you need to move all the electronics around to shift most of the weight toward the rear of the car.

A 4WD is designed to be 50/50 weight bias and some 2WD Drifters go as much as 25/75 which isn't possible with a 4WD platform.

Aside from that the geometry is completely different with the shock towers and roll center adjustments are different.

Do yourself a favor and buy a cheap kit from RedCat which will save you money and frustration:

Once you gain many years of experience and have learned how the geometry works then you can invest in a CNC to make your own custom parts. This is the CNC that I use to make performance upgrades for my cars:
In the meantime, I would encourage you to get a copy of the book Invisible Speed which goes into great detail behind the geometry of RC car tuning, it doesn't go into drifting per se, but the knowledge offered in the book will translate as drifting tuning is the polar opposite of tuning for grip:
