Need opinions please

Why do i keep hearing from my local hobbie shop guy that cen are crap and constsantly break ??? I got 1 about 4wks ago and i still havn't been able to a full tank through it without a problem. Mind you, they are only small probs like a grub screw falling out and burnt out 1 way bearing. Need opinions have i brought a lemon ?? I got another car off the same guy i got the cen from and it's been frikkin awesome (aftershock).
Both cars where second hand when purchased but still very new (needed running in still). Will let you all know how it goes after work today anyway got the cen back yesterday. So the grub screw should be sweet (i hope).:d

Have never heard any thing real good about CEn products and they are by far not the most commonly purchased, The Losi Aftershock on the other hand is a much better and higher quality truck, IMO...it would also be the one I'd stick with and sale the CEN, JMO though.

I have never heard anything good about them........ except their huge 7.7 motors.........

I've heard both good and bad things about Cen. I personally will stick with Savage and possibly Losi.

I'm with Rc Addict LST/2's defintley rock and so does the Aftershock !:thumbup:
I love my LST2 ! I heard that the Cen GST is only good for their wheels/tires, which is why I have a set !

Well the drive train of the Genesis is pretty tough which is why some people mod their Savages to take CEN diffs. But over all they are better than Duratrax but just not up with HPI, Losi....ect. No reason to get rid of it or anything...small things break no matter what you run normal stuff for RC. the biggest factor is do you like it?...and are you having fun...notice the word I repeated...YOU. As long as you are happy that is all that is important! Now go bash and be happy!....I love the smell of nitro.

Man all MT's break no matter what they are. I am a with Taz and like LOSI alot better than Traxxas which is what I ran. Everytime I have taken my rig out I have broke something(shoch shaft, rear diff) .But RC trucks break and wrenching on them is a big part of the hobby.

That's for sure ! Most definately ! Well, me too, but not 'EVERY' time. You pretty much said it all right there in a nut shell.....that's the fun of it !:thumbup:
