I neither love it nor hate it. Tiny trucks aren't my thing but I do think it's well made. If I were in the market for a mini truck the Maxx and XRT would be the only two on the list.

What I hate about it is when they first release it they said fully waterproof ran it through this tiny puddle water and they said it was my fault the receiver died because I opened the truck up and greased the gears which voided the warranty

It's a Traxxas thing. My Sledge came with three lightly lubed diffs. The shocks weren't much better.

I have both, the mini Maxx and the mini XRT and I love and hate them both.!!
Hate the cost, love the durability, I have beaten the death out of my Maxx so much so I can’t believe it hasn’t broken, same goes for the XRT really. I don’t use them as my main bashers, nowadays I always bring one with me so when I’ve broken my 1/8, 1/7, 1/6 or 1/5 cars I’m not left angry..
And in all honesty I don’t really like mini’s of any type although I seem to have accumulated quite a few of them over the years..!!

I think it's a little spendy, but it's got its place. If I had a nice tight dirt track, I think it would thrive on that type of track. I did almost grab one, but now I'm leaning towards a full size x-maxx.
