need new cb. which one?

The OFNA hardened bells are good. It's what I've been using in my HB buggy for about 2 gallons. It has some wear on it, but not a lot. I also run a 15T OFNA on my savage... it still looks like new after 11 gallons, but the savage is running a plastic spur.

Print out the page on Tower and bring it with you. If your LHS asking 40 bucks for it just show them the printout and walk out.

I wouldn't mind if they selling it at retail price. But, 40 bucks ain't retail. It is double retail.

I have always used the same clutch bells as my flywheel brands. I never mix and match those two. Ofna flywheel, Ofna clutchbell, not Kyosho flywheel, Ofna clutchbell. I am not sure what people do when the run Werks clutch and so forth.

If you look closely not all clutchbells have the same depth so the shimming will be different and will not always work out.

I run Mugens/OFNA/Kyosho/Sportwerks(12t nitride only) and have no issues w/ any of them......all except the 12t have well over 5-6 gallons and don't look bad at all.....

I run an 18t vented OFNA clutchbell on my Savage as a requirement with the werks clutch. No issues after 3 gallons.

i run that same ofna vented, its wearing a little more than my xray bell did, but holds up fine for me. i paid $19.99 at my LHS for it.
