AFAIK, they’re the first (and only) ones to do it in 1/8 off-road.. Would not surprise me if it hasn’t been done in more classes tbh.. HongNor has made some of the best quality 1/8 off-road vehicles for decades now-they just kind of coasted in the US for the majority of the last 10-15yrs.. They had a lot of success with the Jammin’ line up early on.

While I have been a longtime fan of (and owned several over the years) Mugen, and Kyosho; If I were to look seriously at another 1/8 off-road manufacturer, it would undoubtedly be HongNor..

To each their own, but that body is terrible IMO..

Jared Tebo runs it here in the US, and it looks just as awful..

There are MANY bodies that fit the buggy already. 1/8 buggies are all so similar, it’s not difficult to grab something even if it’s not offered for your chassis.. Mayako, and Agama N1 are about the only exceptions that I’m aware of currently..

If only I had more land and didn't live in the middle of town. I did just find 2 tracks about an hour and a half from here though, I'm going to have to see what classes and scales they race and adjust my "rc garage" appropriately I think
