Gone - bye bye.
I'm having a problem with my pull start. I just broke in my Savage today and it's a brand new pull start. On about the second cycle of the heat cycle process, the cord would not recoil. So I brought it inside and begun to take the backplate off to see what the problem was. As soon as I loosened pressure on the back plate screws, it recoiled like it was supposed to. I looked it over and fooled with it and everything seemed to be working. So I put it back together and everything works fine for a while. I finished the break in process and was driving the truck around in the yard slow and I turned it over and it died. It wasn't a hard impact or anything, just going mid-speed and turned really sharp really fast and it tipped over. Anyway, when I turned it back over and it died, I went to restart it.
Now, when I pull on the cord, it's like it's not cathing. If I pull slow, it catches and turns over the motor. But when I pull fast it just doesn't catch. It's recoiling back in as it should and everything feels very smooth except that it's not turning over when I pull fast. What should I do??
