I think the stinger type pipes are just designed like that....you can get a pressure fitting from the Hobby place you get stuff from (e-bay) they're really cheap and if you already have a hole easy to install.....the tube shoved in should work fine but it just looks hack....

Ok I wasn't to sure if it would be enough to mess with the flow to the carb, I'm not to worried about what it looks like as long as it works :)

Thats a pressure line not a Vacuum line. Just make sure the hose isn't pushed more than 1/4 inch into the tuned pipe. If you are still having proble,s getting it started and running, you may have a bad Glow plug. Check the plug coil to see if it is deformed or if it has carbon build up on it. 3 of us had this problem today at the track after retuning for the hot humid day. I had my GP go bad while I was retuning. After getting it right, I shut it down to clip the body back on then it wouldn't start back up. Changed the plug and it was screaming again. :hammer:

Oh yeah, when you have the GP out, stick it in your glow heater and watch the element. If the whole coil doesn't glow instantly or with in 2 seconds and the top turn of the coil doesn't glow at all. its bad.

Actually it was in almost over an inch, Mabe it was hitting on the inside of the pipe and blocking the pressure to the tank? I will check the glow plug, it was a brandnew one and I've only ran it once but ya just never know lol, and I have a couple new ones lying around anyway, thanks for all the help guys, It look like we might be getting some rain here soon so I probally wont do much with it tonight, that and I'm being lazy today lmfao!

Well, Jesse, did it rain? Got an update for uis? I suspect it might have been the pressure line. It could have been fooling you all along.

No Rain I have just been working on my Sons Rustler and working around the house, I'm going to the Mother in laws in a few thinking of taking it with me and working on it, give me a reason to sneak away lol

LOL I messed with it for a while yesterday, Checked the glow plug that was good, I looked closer to the pressure line and it was over and Inch in to the pipe it also diddnt fit tight on the tank either, So I checked the fuel line and it too was very loose and seemed very thin, so I replaced them both but havent gotten out to try it yet. I hope that was the problem lol.

I read all the posts in this thread, then looked and didn't see where you mention buying one, are you still running the stock clutch?

The stock teflon shoes are always engaged and the excess drag can cause what "appear" to be tuning issues, no one's mentioned it so give it a shot - and check out the clutch bearings too. <shrug> :D
