iirc, since you shipped it to him, if you used the US post office, it can be considered mail fraud, a federal offence. you could always remind him of that.

yeah i shipped it usps with delivery confo,he received it thursday at 10:05am
i am not sure what to do he sounded very honest and sincere in the beginning and then it all just stopped ,first email was an appoligy for the delay then second was that he wasn't going to try and screw me ,now nothing ,,
it is 7am here now i am going ot check the mail here at 8:30 hopefully it is there and i need not worry any longer ,but the least he could do is respond to my requests for shipping info or atleast tell me it was shipped or something ,,

ok ,heres the deal,i did a little searching and found a few ppl he dealt with, and i email the most recent ,this person told me he was shocked to see that i actually went thru with the trade and i guess from what this person said that the person i traded with forwarded all our conversations to him and he said he was gonna mail all my stuff back to me ,i havent talked to the person i was dealing with as of yet ,,but he is to be online later this evening and we are going to discuss the trade and why things happened
thanx to everyone and there support ,,
take care rick

ok another log into the drama
i finally contacted him sunday thru a mutual friend that gave me his yahoo messanger id ,so i contacted him ,we talked for about an hour or so and he even offered a hummer body into the trade ,now it is almost a week later and nothing
no responces again ,when he went into RCU and finalized the offer and all i accepted it and he said he was boxing it up and would mail it monday but omg am i getting very very upset here ,i have been more the patient in this matter.

ppl that i have dealt with on here know me as a decent person so i hope anyway ,i treat others and i want to be treated just fed up with this poop and if i do not hear from him tonight then i am and will contact the authorities in his town and file charges against this person ,doesn't take a week even sending parcel post from ohio to pennsylvania
if anyone can direct me in the right direction i would be grateful ,
jesse thank you for the link to that site i ma looking into fileing a complaint there
thank you for any respnces
rick

You can try these to number from the United States Attorney's Office.

1.

Computer Crimes Section focuses on the ever-growing area of internet crime; computer intrusions, denial of service attacks, theft of intellectual property and child exploitation. Cases are primarily investigated by the FBI, United States Secret Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Postal Service.

Information on how to contact those agencies can be found on this website under "How to Report a Crime." The Chief of Computer Crimes, Michael L. Levy, can be reached at (215) 861-8599.

2.

The Fraud Section oversees federal criminal prosecution of offenses such as:

Consumer fraud, including telemarketing fraud, sweepstakes and premiums fraud, fraud by businesses against customers

Computer fraud, including use of the internet to commit fraud
In addition to laws prohibiting specific unlawful activity, broad federal statutes protect against fraud, making any fraudulent scheme a federal crime if the United States mail or a courier service is used in its commission, or if interstate wire transfers, telephone calls, fax transmissions, e-mails or other interstate communications are used in the fraud.

If anyone has information regarding frauds, please call the U.S. Attorney's Office, Fraud Section, at (215) 861-8570. Peter Schenck is the Chief of the Fraud Section. The FBI and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service may also be contacted at the telephone numbers previously listed.

thanx guys for all your help in this matter ,i do believe i have been ripped off
the last time i contacted this person was sunday a week ago, he made a offer to complete the deal on rcu but havent heard from him since ,i contact the state police here in pa and they are looking into it for me there will be charges filed against this person ,actaully 2 different charges but none the lessi have given him ample time to respond top me and my requests and i was even very curtious to this person in all emails ,the last 1 i sent to day involved asking for 1 of 3 things to resolve this
#1 engine, body and misc tmaxx parts that were agreed on
#2 payment of 175 dollars for the mini-t
#3 the mini returned to me and all parts and accessories sent with it ,
and if he did 1 of these 3 i would not press charges ,
sound reasonable????
i think so ,
but have not heard a word ,
btw: he did not use his real name in the trade ,i found that out today
still tring ot figure out how he could recieve an item with a fictious name to the right address but he did ,,,
if anyone deals on radio control universe please be very cautious if your dealing with a person nicknamed PREGMASTER
just a heads up to my fellow nitro friends
thank you for all your help
take care
rick
