Need help, no power

I have a Mugen Seiki MBX4. The car was well tuned and it ran well.
Now the problem.
It still runs well when sitting on the starter box (high RPM = lots of power).
When the car is moved to the ground I get lots of RPM but the car barely reaches half speed.

Sounds like your clutch shoes may be worn out. Gonna have a hard time finding parts for an MBX4. I sold mine awhile back for that very reason. Check Nitrohouse.com though...they used to have some stuff for it.

Thank you. I was hoping it wasn't the engine.
Compatible clutch out there?

IDK, never used anything but the stock one. Id check the clutch first and make sure thats it and if it is then Id check Nitrohouse for a replacement.
