Recently purchased a losi baja rey 2.0 1/6th scale rc. I have 2 3 cell batteries that I'm hoping to use without harming the trucks electronics. They are venom batteries (5000 Mah / 35c). Do you think be fine in this particular r/c truck. All advice is greatly appreciated.

I don't go below 60c with any RC that has a little speed to it. But I have ran 20C batteries in a Tamiya 4wd road car with a 13.5t motor, and it did just fine. But as Chewy said, you can't really trust C ratings on batteries. A lot of 100C batteries barely get halfway into the 30's for their actual C rating. Your 35C is probably closer to 20C though 😉

if it was me I WOULD NOT RUN A 35c battery as stated above by link.id use a much larger C range battery.
info from link. the ole C debate I won't get into that but max amps is the biggest culprit in that debacle or rip off the consumer.. I always by greater C batteries of a better grade not cheap batteries learned that long ago in the nicad days..

I run liperior 45C and 65C packs, they do pretty good. The 45C's I use in my e-revo 2.0 with a max6/blx4074 2050kv. The 65C I used in my kraton and outcast with max6 4092/1650kv motors. The 65C's got a bit more grunt, but both do really well. They are fairly cheap.

I also have a couple 4S 65C's I run in my slashpede 4x4 with a blx185/blx4074 and I bought a couple of the 40C 6S packs to use in my kraton/outcast. The 40C's are a bit smaller/lighter than the 65C packs.

This shows the 45C and 65C 3S 5000mah packs side by side. The thinner ones fit in the e-revo trays better with the battery clips which is why I use them in the e-revo, they are also lighter so they put less strain on the suspension.
