I'm going to take the radio plate off and mess around and see if I can take better pics . I wanted to get it all put together and see it all together (minus the body which I am painting today)

I'd go with the first pic if it fits there. If not, I would go with option 2 and buy a second top plate if you can, and cut a pocket in it for the ESC to fit into it and place a spacer under the ESC to mount it at a height that fits good. I did not realize that chassis was so much smaller than the Scorpion type tubs.

These came in today. Yall should have warned me.... I've ordered every replacement part available... gold shocks on the way.... daily I search for the very hard to find parts.... I mean every hour at least I check all my go-to websites... end of Dec to the beginning of January I'll have the parts to make a whole 'nother Ultima... too bad the upgrade swing shaft, carbon towers and spur gears are so hard to find...

RC is very addictive, but a lot of fun. Looking forward to building my son's.
