Are they really necessary? I just ordered new wheels and tires (seperate) and I didn't know they were supposed to have foam inserts until I was reading up on some write-ups for glueing new tires to the wheels. My old ones don't have them in (I boiled them to get them to seperate, the wheels warped, hence why I ordered new ones.) The tires are fairly low profile, but if they are necessary, what should I do?

Picture of said wheels and tires.

Double check the product description. Typically the tires that I know of come with inserts so hopefully you'll be all set.

The foams keep the tire more stiff so I would say, yes get a set. The only exception that I see is running with paddle tires on my baja. It gives it that low air pressure feeling when driving.

I believe home depot has foam that is stick on one side. Not sure what it is called but go over there ask about it. If they don't have it go to a hardwear store.

I wouldn't recommend that... You'll probably end up with out-of-balance tires...
