  1. Bashing
Well it arrived on saturday morning and I got a chance to run it yesterday. So far I have installed my B3, which will be leaving, and the Ofna 086 Pipe, which will also be leaving. But anyway, its a blast to drive. I have not installed my HS-5645MG Steering servo and the MX-A radio stuff yet becuase I have not had time, but it still a blast to drive.

This thing is just as fast, if not faster than my X-Terminator with the B3 but handles even better. It has the extra ground clearance too, which is great for a basher like me. With the front and rear anti-roll bar and the huge tires this thing handles NICE. I can turn the wheel all the way and have the throttle pegged and it does not roll over. I may have to be more careful with that once I get my good servo in there, but man I am very happy with the performance level of the LSP.

On the way is a Wasp .28 and a Vantage CF low end pipe (Thanks PiErow!) Please do not tell me to stay away from the Wasp lol, I have had one before and is still my favorite engine, even over the B3. The B3 is my fav .21 so far but for a bashing engine, the Wasp is for me.

Well enough talking, here are the pics!

This is the stock body

And this shows the Aluminum suspension arms the Pro has

The Pro has the Al arms, 3 brake discs, front and center CVDs (not rear) 3.5mm shock shafts, and hardned diff gears, which makes it very durable and a blast to drive. This is the most fun to drive R/C I've had due to its speed, and agility.

Props to vbgagnon and everyone who helped me make the choice on a LSP!

Thanks guys, I jsut got in from running it. Definetly very very fun to drive, and I don't know what I did but the engine ran better today than it ever has. (Maybe cause vbgagnon also suggest this engine to me, thanks again lol) It hit the sweetspot today, put out more torque than I thought possible from a .21 engine. The thing jsut flat out hauled ass through the entire RPM range today. Its making me regret buying the Wasp .28, and this is with a Ofna 086. As soon is I get the vantage from PiErow we'll see what happens :) I swear the LSP was just about to wheelie. The HS-5645MG I installed made it handle even that much better. All the while the temps were at or below 230.

I only managed to roll it over twice, becuase I put it into a all out slide on the driveway, then it hit the grass and the tires grabbed on hard and sent it rolling, no damage at all, flipped her over and kept going.

The only downfall I see is that the turing radius is worse than buggies, not by a lot tho.

There are ways to fix that...Make sure your servo is at full throw, trim the dust protecters on the c-hub. Try those things and let me know if you need more.

Well the steering servo is a digital, so I went and set the EPAs as far is I could so that the servo wasn't constantly trying to turn farther, which will ruin the servo. I will trim the dust protectors, but if I get much more it looks like the wheels will hit the turn buckels, which are already notched out.

Thanks buggyracer :)

O, and whats the most durable buggy wing out there? I hear the Proline is good, any others?

Ok, I will try and trim out the dust protectors next and see if that helps.

Proline wing.
Nice ride AC. Told ya you would like the B3, when/if ya sell it let me know.

your gonna have to atleast tell us the full review of this thing il either be getting the new lsp kit soon to be out or the even newer jammin truggy.

Well, in one sentece: This is the most fun to drive, best handleing, and fastest (accel), R/C I have had. And I have had a lot, RS4, savage, 3 buggies..the only type of nitro I haven't driven is a 2wd ST.

If you have any questions about certain aspects of this thing just ask away.

See if it'll pull a matchbox car ... oh I mean a 99 GMC Jimmy

LMAO! I read that whole thread the other day.

Loser, I've been reading and chatting with pro's about the new lightning pro-r and its not really worth what they will be putting out. You would be better off going with the pro as it stands now and selling the engine/pipe and radio equipment. The optional equipment itsn't the best quality and for what you sell the radio and engine for you could get some GOOD hop-ups with the money you make from it.

ahh ok cool thx for the tip ill keep that in mind when i go to purchase. the only thing i can see different in the pro-r kit is that it has a carbon fiber radio tray and some other small stuff that I'm not even experienced enough to feel.

Yea, best bet is the pro. The pro isn't totally necessary, but its nice to have the center CVDs, extra breaking, and thicker shock shafts. THe Al arms are very cool looking tho :D Loser, vb knows crap loads about these things, but I can answer some things too haha.

Ok update, I gave the LSP a little TLC tonight and this morning, its now 3:10 AM for me lol. I did a complete tear down and filled the diffs with 5,7,3 K diff oil and cleaned everything up. I replaced the stock radio system with my MX-A and HS-5645MG steering servo. I then threw in a brand new Team Orion Wasp .28 and PiErow's old Vantage CF pipe. As reccomended by vbgagnon, I put screws in the suspension arms to prevent the arms from extending all the way and breaking the shock ends. I played around with the suspension preload clips, and got this thing sitting so that all the arms sit level after being pushed down, this thing is looking mean now. :D I plan to break in the Wasp .28 tomorrow, well today I guess. Heres some more pics.
