I bought any and all available upgraded parts for a Mini-T 2.0. Realized I wasn't far from having enough parts to build an entire other car, so I bought a few more parts and did just that. I wanted a bug body, so I bought one from Team Bluegroove Racing. Created and 3D printed some body mounts, making the rear mounts hinged. Then created and 3D printed a motor for it.

It's a '32 coupe. It'll be a complete custom build. It's been put on the back burner for a while now. Someday I'll get back to it, lol

Man.... I have questions, lol. Where did you source that front suspension? and how wide is it from king pin to king pin? The front suspension is where I got frustrated and stop building it. And what about those rear wheels and tires?
Very cool. What printer do you have?
I'm a newb to printing, It's my first one so i went with a cheap user friendly one. It's a Creality Ender-3

So... The printed Baja motor in the pics shown is printed in PLA. It was more or less a prototype just to see if the print would work. Since it was successful, I've tried several times to print it with ABS. Failure after failure of the print popping loose from the bed had me coming up with excuses to kill the wife's cat.

I thought I tried everything. A glass bed, Acetone with a piece of filament melted into it and brushed onto the surface, Aqua-Net hairspray... I guess I cried to the right person about it because he said he uses an Elmer's glue stick on all his prints. hmmm. Why was I just learning this hack?

I went and bought a glue stick. My first attempt, I rubbed it onto the cold bed before heating it up. the print failed right away. I then rubbed the glue stick on the heated bed and put it on very liberally. So far, It's a lot further along than any other attempt. It's at 52% with no lifted edges or anything warping.

I am going to have a beer each time I check up on it and everything is still going well. If it fails, I will drink all the beer
