This isn't by chance a Ebay special is it?

alot of the cars being sold on ebay(not all of them just the "off brand") for like 100$ are no good at all and when they break you can't find replacement parts for them!

plus they tend to exaggerate the speed by a good 40-50MPH on the ebay cheapos...

Wait wait wait.. £349? thats 702$! and you say its a custom?.. that would mean all the parts are custom..

Do you have the means to recreate the parts if you break them?

If not then its a definite no no because when you break a part if you can't re craft it some how then the car just became a 702$ doorstop!(worthless)just my:2cents:

I would choose against these type of deals on EBAY. Eventhough all deals on EBAY are risky to some point. I would suggest getting something from your Local Hobby Shop and see what parts kits are available and what they stock for replacement parts.

direct me to some decent r/c sites PLEASE!!!

Your on the best RC site on the web!:bowtothercnt:
*Thats gotta get me some "In points" with the admins!*

And for RC shops there is always towerhobbies.com and Amain.com both great places!

Oh and just encase There is Teamfasteddy.com! Operated by FastEddy here on RCNT!

Scooby WHO??
Absolutely go to your local hobby shop where you'll be able to get parts, supplies and advise when you need it.
Well, anyway, parts and supplies. The advise you get here, on the best RC site on the web.

I agree,
Local hobby shops are great when it comes to buying parts, and I agree that you should support your LHS if possible,BUT its also usually best to go in there knowing what you want so there is no "no no no this is what you really want" from the guy there..
I've been into hobby shops and they try to sell me any thing they can just to make a sell including a super charger(didn't get it by the way)

So basically what I'm saying is don't let them make you buy junk

Hope you find a RC that you want and can have fun with!

The advise you get here, on the best RC site on the web.

And now I know why they keep you around!

all 3 of my lhs' suck, they carry traxxas on hand. and Mnimal real parts for anything else. if i want it from my LHS i have to order it and pay twice what it would cost online and shipped.
one of the 3 does carry good models, but all prices are MSRP!!!! with NO Discount at all AND TAXES> NOT I said the spider to the fly.

sometimes the LHS is worse.

I would still check to see what parts your lhs carries so if you do break something you don't have to wait as long to replace the part. You can also check several of the large online hobby stores for better pricing on the actual models and some lhs will give you their competitor's pricing.

hi there, listen thanks for getting back to me,you helped alot, and just to answer your question - no it's not one from e-bay it's from a site called custom r/c cars and they have the diablo a gallardo and a countach so you should definately take a look if your interested in buying a new r/c car anyway's thanks for your help!

Ohh...
I see it there its a CEN CT5
I don't know any thing about it but I've never heard any thing good about CEN

Geez Guys. I own a CT5 and imo, it s been a excellent Car. Very Capitble, Durable and is designed quite well. in all honesty, if my CT5 had been my First Nitro, and all other nitros ran and operated as well as my CT5 does, then i may wall of never looked at a Gasser!

Nothing Wrong with CEN. Good Company and good products, WAY Better than most, as good as the few other decent cars in the same price range to 100.00 more, and not as nice as the 500.00 and more Kits.
i wouldnt call it a TOP SHELF R/C, but a Mid Top Shelf would be very Fitting.
For a Nub, imho, the CEN CT5 is a very good car for the money.

I Do have mine up for sale, but ONLY becuz the only "Race Track" is about 4 hrs one way to get to. and if I'm going to run onroad locally for my own pleasure, then i ll use one of my 1/5th onroad gassers. if i found out a new onroad track was opening up with in a hr or two away, i d deffintaly keep it.

If you are really looking into getting a Nitro On Road, IMBROKEN pointed out a great one to start off with. That or the Team Asscociated NTC3. Check your LHS for parts availability and cost. As far as CEN Racing, I have never seen the onroad stuff run that often and when I did, it held up with the other commoners ( NTC3 & RS4Evo ) on the track and street. What I have seen a lot is their Truggy and buggys. If they put down the quality as they have with the 1/8th stuff to their 1/10th, I am sure it will be all skill that will be needed to really compete.

>BREATHE IN<

like everyone said.. check you LHS.. my personal expirience witha truck that wasn't supported by my LHS was terrible.. it took 2 weeks plus to get parts and i eventually lost interest in this awesome hobby.. talonone sold me a revo and my LHS carries parts!! i bash almost everyday!!
