My home town.

If I were going to live up that way, the Great Falls area is likely where I'd go.

East of the mountains doesn't seem to be as popular with the left-coasters fleeing the cluster-hump they helped create.

No clue anymore. We bought our house super cheap though.
I do know the cheapest piece of land we found at the time we bought our house was over 100k for a single acre.

We have a good friend that grew up and still has family in Weiser. Looks like a nice little town! Not too far from it in Eastern WA too. ;)
What's the family name if you don't mind me asking?
We love it here. Great fishing and hunting. Twenty minutes north and we are in the forest.
Drive South a few minutes and we are in desert.
Mild winters but we have seen our share of heavy snow storms.

are they accepting applications from Commiefornia refugees? :hehe:
We have lots of folks from Cali here. Seems to be a great retirement area for them.
I was born in Cali but haven't been there since I was a kid.

No way!!! I had a bud in Weiser too! 🤔

Every time he said Weiser heard 'Hey Hey!" in my head. 🤣

What a quiet little town. Very nice. Looks clean. 😍

Her maiden name escapes me at the moment. It sounds a lot like where we are, just more desert here. 2 hrs to Forests, 3 hrs to big city Seattle, 2.5 hrs to mountains. Lots of good fishing. Almost the same winters too.

Not my video but just wanted to give you guys a peek at nice quiet living.

Thanks for the insight into your home town. I'm about half way through the vid. It's interesting to see. I'll watch the rest later.

I can see myself living there. I grew up in a small quiet farming town in Western Australia. Dairy farming was its main industry. There was a creamery in the main street with milk tankers driving in and out all the time.
This is it but it's closed down now:

One day I'd like to move back. Not necessarily to the same town, but a quiet, bigger peice of land.

I couldn't see myself living there. I grew up in a small quiet farming town in Western Australia. Dairy farming was its main industry. There was a creamery in the main street with milk tankers driving in and out all the time.

Thanks bud, I'm glad you are enjoying it.
We are really close to Payette National Forest so in 20 minutes or so I'm there.

Just reread what I wrote 🤦‍♂️
That was meant to say, I "can" see myself living there. Not couldn't. 😆 Bad grammar and stupid autocorrect. 🤦‍♂️
