i just got my rc truck today its the pirate 10 monster. and its has a the hyper 7 .21 and it will not start. i ajusted the needels on it a few time my dad did first then me and my neighbor then me and it wont start. the glow plug starter is working correctly and the engine is getting fuel. i have no idea what the hell is going wrong. please help thanks

what do you mean. the manual says put one glow plug washer so i did and the glow plus gets hot cuz i took it out and tested it and it gets red.

Iam going to try to help you out here
1st is your hsn set at 4 1/2 turns out if not set it to that
2nd your lsn it should be set at flush to the slide then 3 1/2 turns out from flush
3rd pull your air filter off and make sure that the carb slide opening is about 2mm from closed. thats about the thickness of a cridit card. I have seen the hyper 8 port come with the settings all messed up.so check out these things and get back to us...OH and don't mess with the msn set it flush and never touch it.

yea the slide is open but its like a pin hole not evendo you think thats it.

its 11:45 were i am so I'm gonna have to wait till morning if that doesn't work I'm going to the hobby shop.

Also try putting some fuel thru the carb & check if there are any lines clog
go with zandor's settings I had the same motor & he is right on the money

if it is brand new the compression might be a little hard loosen the glowplug, put ur finger over the exhaust pull it about 2 times take ur finger off and try to start it again.that usally works for me with new trucks. if it starts make sure to tighten the glow plug back up.
