I hate the guy that parks so far in that his nose sticks into the spot in front of him. When that happens, I'm the one who get's all happy because I found a spot only to realize that there's a car in there already!

Or what about those kids who own like a early 90's Cavalier with big rust spots. Then add a huge wing. WalMart wheel covers. Big kanji symbol on the window even though it's a Chevy. Fake air intakes on the hood. 5000 watt stereo. And then they park it waaaaaaaaay far away from the store entrance where no one will scratch it. Even though there's barely a scrap of original paint left on the body.....

i dunno whether to knock or not, but the new thing with all these crew cab trucks. to me it just seems like a truck for the family guy who wants a truck but will never use it as a truck. why not just get a sedan? i know 3 guys personally that got these things because they wanted to look "manly". they drive their "truck" to work and back and sometimes take the family to the mall or out to eat.

i can see the need for very few people to have a crew cab with an eight foot bed, but still haven't figured out why there is any need for a crew cab with a measly four foot bed. perhaps these people should be getting that subaru baja...oh wait...not "manly" enough.lol

I think people in Volvo's are pretty much right up there with the Saabs. Working in Westchester county New York, everyone and their uncle drives a volvo like and idiot!!! They think "I drive a Volvo I own the road".

Why would you think that owning a Vovlo makes you the "king of the road"? Maybe because they're the safest freaking production cars in the world and still manage to look good and perform Well. All those people that drive Volvos, Drive them becasue they value life.

My lil bro has a 95 Burgandy 850 Turbo(they only made them in automatic), Carbon Fiber hood, OEM spoiler, shaved body, custom grille, IPD Exhaust and FLash CPU upgrade to produce 285HP @ the crank. He's got the sickest 17" ultra-Lightweight alloys that I've ever seen on said car. It's fast, classy and fast for car that's weighs a ton or two(LOL). My father is going to work the engine to produce 333HP @ the crank in said car running 18lbs of boost. He's already doing 0-60 in 5.8 flat(as fast as the new 350Z stock). Not bad for an auto tranny car that weighs as much as a Caddy escilade and looks like a bad ass box(HA).

I'm getting a Metallic Black 1999 C70 HPT (High Pressure Turbo) Coupe. It's the mean ass two door Volvo sports car that doesn't look like a box. ALready have the Carbon fiber hood in route from Italia, will be adding a Custom grill that looks like Onyx stone and after IPD upgrades and work from mad mechanic father, I should be doing 0-60 in 5 flat and rolling in the pimpest tres Classy Volvo sports coupe in town. Will throw on some nice 17" alloys wrapped in Nitto extreme rubber.

Volvos fiddlesticking rock, anyone that says otherwise just doesn't know any better. How many cars can you roll 33+ times @ 120Mph and walk away with only scratches and bruises to tell the story.

Back to the subject @ hand, Their's allot of UGLY mofo cars in prodcution. To start, the Hummer H2(you'd have to pay me to drive that offroad halfwit pathetic excuse for a Hummer H1). Pontiac Aztec(I think eddy said enough) and the Toyota Echo....PUKE.

Hey I have a Saab and my first car was a Volvo. Those Sweedish cars are the shiznit fool. I used to smoke people ALL DAY LONG in my 1980 240 GL turbo charged brick (Volvo). My Saab produces 230bhp @ the crank with a 2.0 4 cyclinder. Those Sweedish cars were doing stuff standard 20 years ago that the american automobile industry is just picking up on (since Ford aquired Volvo and GM aquired Saab).

lol - I'm amazed at how many people do not care for the Aztek! I thought I was the only one...

My favorite import right now is the WRX STi. I've driven my buddies a few times now and its just plain AMAZING! Eddy, when you are here, barring you know how to drive a standard, we are going to take it out.

I was in one of the new GTO's yesterday. While it was OK in speed, the handling didnt seem to be all there AND the body style SUCKS ASS! I wish they would have stuck to the body style in their concept.

hey you wanted an opinion you got one. come out to new york and drive some time and then chastise me!!! in case you didn't read the whole post i said new yorkers not new mexicans or killafornians. oh and by the way anyone who thinks 350 hp is a lot of hp needs to do a reality check. there is no replacement for displacement. even in nitro rc. as for safety that was never a question, i sold enough parts to volvo's and their owners after they wrecked them when i ran a bmw/volvo dealer to rebuild 100 cars. not of course taking away from your driving ability, some people can actually drive. "nothing personal"

Are you talking modern ugly? I vote for that square mercedes suv. All time ugly? I have an image burned in my mind of an early 70's AMC ambassador, with faded brown paint and 2 different color doors. It was the ugliest car ever made, and the ugliest thing I ever saw period.

Ok the H2 is definitely a bad dream come true.

The element as ugly as people think they are I have driven them and found out they drive awesome and handle really well. I would own one. The Prius is ugly but damn those gas prices are getting higher and higher so I won't mind.

THe car I personally think is ugly is the Mercedes SUV. That thing is damn ugly and needs to be taken back to the drawing board. Looks too damn Boxy for a modern Benz.
