ok so metalhead matt was right about the proline Big Joes and how they are unstable. so I've had these tires for a few hours and i do like them, when they are off road, but since i am in a subdivision i have to deal with A LOT of different types of terrain. so I'm lookin into new tires for i am looking into prolines MOAB or their Masher tires. does anyone have any experience with these 2 tires, i know that the MOAB has a larger diameter which makes me worry that they'll be unstable at higher speeds, proline says that the masher tires are great for suburban areas. i can't decide which ones? if they're are any other good all terrain monster truck tires let me know about those too! thanks guys

Stock t-maxx chevrons are a good all terrain tire when street is part of that terrain. Not too much side bite, so limits traction roll overs on pavement. Does better on grass, but can be a bit squirrelly on dirt.

A set of the 3.8's that are lower profile may be even better for your needs.

I run these currently on my revo since it spends a lot of time on concrete and grass:

More sidewall than the 3.8's, so a bit more forgiving off the jumps, but less forgiving at speed.

yeah I've run the stock chevrons on my emaxx bl, but I've got blacktop not concrete so i have next to no traction and all the tires do is spin

Proline Mashers hands down. BUT spend some extra dough and put in a good foam. Prolines white foam blows monkeys. The stock Proline white foam will be dead long before the tires wear out. Ofna makes a good set of MT size foams that are molded.
Try balancing the Big Joes with some modeling clay. You will be amazed at the difference.

I have the Moab XL's on the Proline 40 series bead lock wheels and they work great for all around bashing on my E Maxx....

haha i love the beadlocks! i put them on the geode rims with prolines road rage. its great cause they protect the rim and look pretty sick
