I didn't even hear about it. Tell me more about it. Bob i'm not a huge fan of reverse because it seems to be nothing but trouble. But yeah the 3 speed might be something to think about.

i havent seen to many problems with the savage reverse just like evrything else on the savage it seems rather tankish

Associated MGT 8.0. You will never find a better M/T

associated is way to much like the tmaxx granted its alott beffier but the maxx is designed with way to many weak points the svage x or xl is the way to go for strongest badher

The Associated is a very good truck. I haven't drivin one myself, but I do have an Associated that is my race truck because of the strength and quality. I would imagine that the Savage is a lil tougher because of the way it's designed, but I couldn't give an answer either way unless I personally had one of each. Even IF the Savage was tougher (I have no idea if it is because I don't have both of them to test), I'm sure the associated is not far behind. I think aftermarket support might be alil better with the Savvy as well.

Clearly bob doesn't have any experience with the 8.0. I have 2 T maxx, a Savage X and an MGT 8.0 and a Thunder Tiger MTA4, (not the S50). The Thunder Tiger will give the Savage a run for its money, and the Associated with the .50 will trash them all. And the T maxx wont touch any of them.................

the tmaxx isnt even in the same class as far as bashing and sorry about the last post i came off funny what i was trying to say is i think ud be better off with the savage because it has a better design sorry
