Saturday - to physical and mentally repair from the week
Extra day - actually do fun stuff / relax ( ie RC day)
Sunday - physically and mentally prepare for the week.

When I was a young adult, Sunday was party time. "SUNDAY SESSIONS". We would hit the beers and decompress before work the next day. That would make Mondays even harder though
