What would be the right gearing for a 5700 set up in dirt and grass? Also, and sorry if this is going to sound newbish but, is it too hard on the motor with 11/90 gearing? Before you ask WTF I'm thinking, I'm starting on a Traxxas BackSlash project. It's something I have been thinking about sense I saw "theJangs" video.

sorry no temps don't have this thing yet. Here is the project that I am thinking about. This guy made the original the thing just a few different parts as far as the BL motor goes.

The track in the video is Norcal Hobbies. I'm not impressed with its performance on track as any of the 2wd mod buggy/truck guys get just as much or more air and the handling looks worse than a stock Slash.

Well... thought it might be something to get started with. I was planing on moving the battery forward some to add more weight to the front though. As far as an actual buggy, well I had been looking on ebay for some rollers but, this was something I had in mind a while back. I am still a newb at this whole thing. So just trying a few things here and there. If all fails I was working to get a MM 1/10 set up to get started with BL and do some kind of conversion other than my Slash. (Trust me, I wasn't planing on converting the Slash I have now but buying parts here and there.)
