i was down at my LHS because i had to get my rear diff for my other 1/18 and they had a mini T there brand new in the box for 80 bucks. i just put down a $50 down payment and I'm going to pay the rest by monday the lastest! i just wanted to let everyone know the good deal i got and how happy i am to be getting a nice 1/18 =]

ok i just got my mini t today. i really need a battery pack for it. those 4 AAs arent cutting it. but over all its a pretty good little 1/18. i just can't wait to get some brushless and lipos and really see what it does!

I love my Mini-T's, one I let my fiancee' learn to drive on and it's now barbie pink. I have another Mini-T thats set up with a micro spy and mini-termination motor, but it is almost too fast as it is. I couldn't imagine lipo/brushless in a mini-t, you're going to need weight up front or a very good slipper and ball differential to keep the front tires down.

A 7.2v and Bearings will be cheap, but get the mini-t going very fast on a stock motor. I strongly suggest the titanium turnbuckles. Also avoid curbs...I lost a cheap turnbuckle while turning at about 25-30mph and smacked a curb head on destroying the chassis and bulkhead. Overall costing less than $30 to fix and a lot of fun to replace, but ended my day of driving.

Here is my 1/18th stable as of yesterday. I'm off to the hobby shop after work today to get some things for the new brushless RC18b.

*Edit - Hey btw, if you need anything for that mini-t let me know, I have a TON of spare parts. lol, I believe I have 4 very nice brushed motors you might want to try one before going brushless.

yeha man that would be great if i could score a motor off of you. i set up and for sale thread last night. i dont have any cash cuz i just layed down 80 bucks for this but I'm willing to trade anything i got for it. i need a better motor, ESC and a nice Ni-MH battery pack cuz i only have a charger for that type of battery!. let me know

I have a Reedy Mini Mod 19T, Reedy Mini Mod 17T, and a Trinity Micro-Monster that I'm not using. I have the Trinity Mini Machine termination in my Mini-T now and it's pretty fast. Not sure which if any will run on the stock esc, but I'm sure they will pep up your car for sure.

I strongly suggest the bearing kit for it though, it made my stock mini-t a lot faster. I have 3 Team Losi 7.2v packs, I might part with one if you really need it. I will go through my parts bins this weekend and see what stuff I don't need or want and let you know what I have. I will probably do that tonight when I get back from HobbyTown. :)

great man i really appreciate it. i could definetly use a new motor and some battery packs. send me a PM or just reply here to see what you can part with and than ill see what i can do about getting you some money!

thanks again man

in my other 1/18 i have a dynamite 15T esc and mini LST frenzy motor. plus a futaba 2ph Tx/Rx maybe i should combine both and see what i get
