I'm oot an aboot in MOOSE country today eh. I can't seem to get to Towers page from here. Even at 219 thats a bit expensive. do they have a non RTR setup or kit that can be bought? I'd love to install my modified motor in that and watch it kick the hell outta my real Savage. If they come down onthe price I HAVE to have one... It would be TOOOO awesome to put the 1/8 up against the 1/18 one!!!!

just hate playin!!!

You guys know I'm joshin ya, but seriously the savage is a poor design, who wants plastic supporting the whole truck, just a bad design! :2cents:

MaxxFX, you have a PM...

LOL maxxfx

How can you call the Savage a cheap design ? Its one of the strongest trucks built to date..

Your really starting to show your age and RC Knowledge , which I'm guessing are both really low..

You also seem to own a T-Maxx which just about somes it up

wtf do the.....who the...hell are YOU talkin bout!!! leave me alone I'm learnin here. lol

i have no idea what I'm tlkin bout,
gus

i Have a minizilla that thing is fun id say i get about 65 mph out of it. it was fun around the house with the stock engine but with tye new mombo brushless engine system that lil thing flys it is a bit expensive

I recently bought a non-RTR version, only came with a motor.
The following electronics were used in it:

Futaba S3002MG Micro Servo
Novak SPY ESC
HPI 7.2V 4x2 Micro packs
Hitec 40Mhz FM (UK Freq.) RX

In standard trim it is slow with it's 9T pinion and 370 (BB300) motor and it is very prone to falling over and popping wheelies due to the battery and electronics being mounted so high and at the back of the chassis
I detest the battery box.. very restrictive on pack choice and WS Deans connectors barely fit thru the chassis to reach the ESC.

As for a Brushless 'Zilla doing 65 mph *cough...cough...* not quite...
Even with a Mamba 8kV spinner and a 10.8V LiPo, the 'Zilla is just not stable enough to maintain those types of speeds due to its extremely high C of G. Touch the steering at anything over 20 mph and it tumbles!

I do have a 'Zilla myself and as the Admin/Mod of YourMicro.com I do know my small scales inside out, I'm not out to flame you, but honestly, a 65mph MiniZilla is pure sceince fiction!
