Just finished building my mini maxx. Pretty happy with how it came out and how easy it is to work on. Just installed the all metal center diff, rear pinion gear and aluminum driveshaft as well as the actual mini maxx aluminum shocksšŸ˜ŽšŸ¤˜

I love the look of these "little " trucks. I kinda want one but I've got literally 4 rigs that I've never plugged in. Maybe if I sell the ProBoat Impulse since I won't be using that again.
That looks really good
Nicely done, and a good looking rig!
I appreciate everyone’s feedback! Since making this post I have installed the light kit, and put a set of the front sledgehammers on the rear (firmer)

Cool! It looks good. I’ve been waiting for that ring gear to come in stock so I can put in the slash diffs too.
How do you like the shocks, or have you even tested them yet?

Have you guys had any issues with the rear differential breaking?.. I see all over YouTube that it seems to be an issue.. and if you did break the rear differential and upgraded, have you had any issues with it since?… I really wanted to go buy one of these mini Maxx tomorrow, I plan to leave it 2S so I feel like I should be fine, but it’s probably going to take a beating from me, so I don’t have an issue upgrading as long as the upgrade holds up.

I would bet it's fine leaving on 2s and just upgrading the motor to any 3650 size. The one in it is a super short can, so short that a 380 sized motor is no doubt more powerful. If that is all you did, the diff would be fine.

My diffs are upgraded. I’ve had no issue, I never ran stock diff or electronics. My rig sat until all the upgrades became available then I built it. I just removed the VXL 3s system because it felt like absolute crap. Overheated to quick and always felt like it was binding for no reason. Just popped a max10G2 4000kv combo in and it is night and day difference, gonna be a fun little truck!

Could always pull it behind the scx10iii. Thats the main reason I want a boat.
