Anyone happen to watch it last night? Damn, that made me feel old.... I believe they referred to them as the Granddaddy's of Heavy Metal. I was, like most Metallica fans, dissappointed when the went mainstream. After "And Justice" I kinda lost interest. I did however buy there new albums when they came out. I think I'm gonna have to buy this New one, "St. Anger". Sounds a bit different...
Unfortunately for me, it looks as though Pantera will be breakin up, and going seperate ways.. Everyones getting sick of Anselmo's poop...
Anyone get tickets for the Summer Tours? I picked up...

Progressive Metal Tour @ Jones Beach N.Y.
Fates Warning, Queensryche & Dream Theatre

Iron Maiden @ Madison Square Garden
Motorhead, Iron Maiden

and I was hoping to see the Halford Tour, but our local date was cancelled...
Later....

I quit listening too and supporting Metallica after Lars started all his crap with Napster. Big freakin baby. Then when they made their website a paysite I lauged so hard at their stupid greedy asses. I just can't bring myself to support a band that does not care about its fans and only cares about money. I supported them when they were nothing. I still have the Kill Em All record, yes vinyl, on Combat Records label before anyone even knew who they were.

Now Iron Maiden on the other hand, these guys are awesome. I have every record and cd they ever put out. I have somewhere in the area of 50 imports lps and picture discs. I even have the 10 cd box set that was only released in europe, where they released like one a month. You had to get the voucher from all 10 cds and send them in for the free storage box, and yes I have the storage box. Simply, Iron Maiden kicks major ass! I have seen maiden in concert probabley 7-8 times at least if not more.

I hope you really enjoy the shows.
