Awesome! Does the velcro on the side guards attach to the body to keep dirt out? thats what I'm guessing?

LOL, I'm guessing with you! I need to look through the manual again and see if that's what it says to do. In a nutshell, the manual sucks since your following two different manuals and there's a few things that get lost in translation a few that just aren't real clear.

That damn Loctite stick keeps moving around your workbench. Dont you ever put anything in the same place twice? "D

That thing looks beefy!

Whats your base set-up and what gear you running?

Someone posted it on the grid, I'll be damned if I can find it again. But it might be the base setup on the Mugen site. Throttle/Brake JR 8800S, Steering JR 9000T, Nomadio Sensor, LiPo RX pack, Novarossi P5X w/ JP3 pipe, Panther Switch 2.0 w/ Ofna yellow foams but just bought some GRP Cubics to try (I like em on the truggy). 400 front / 350 rear, 5-7-1

Man sweet, I feel so used! whatup wit dat? sniff...sniff...

Have you run the JP-3 yet? I was interested in its performance VS other pipes. I really have not heard much about these.

The JR's are a bit oversized(case) arnt they? Did you have to mod anything to get them to fit?

No they fit fine, I had them in my XB8. I have been running the HiTec Ti gears in my 5T and really like them alot more. I had a few issues with JR's over the summer. I have been running the JP-3 since July and like it. It's a good all around pipe. The P5 is a tough bottom end mill and the JP-3 seems to wake up the mid and upper end. I ran it on my 528 as well the mid range was crazy.

Had this thing on track on saturday, all I can say is...Holy poop. My lap times made a big jump and my overall performance was a big improvement. The xray definitely didn't fit my driving style but this thing sure did! I improved by one lap in my 3 qualifiers over previous runs with the XB8. Ended up 5th in the B main against some rather stout competition that usually relagated me to C main. Now I just have to get used to it and build from there.

Good to hear you had a good first run.

Always nice when you plan and build a thing, and it turns out better than expected.

Patience and persistence.....and then THROTTLE UP!!!!!!

You guys have me itchen to see one in action...I am staying away from the you tube stuff because I would be in real trouble..;)

Keep up the reports its fun to hear bout you east coasters.

If you go to youtube, search for RC Pro Finals or variations of that. Or type in drivers names like Matt Gosch, Chad Bradley, SonnyO, etc.

Jet glad to hear you like the mugan....I love my pro....It handles so good..And I have never had it on a track.

So where is the completed pics??

lol thats cool you like it jet. I've been a fan of Xray, but I may hafta check one of these out come spring...
