I just got my Mayhem today and took it to the track. WOW, that thing is incredible! It makes a rookie like me look good. All I had to do was remove a few pre-load spacers, a slight toe adjustment and I was off. I've NEVER spent the entire time racing without repairing anything before! It was smoking my friends Ofna Hyper 7 PCR all over the place(I'm NOT bashing the Ofna's!). It blistered the .21, 8port in the straights, coming out of the corners and launching over the triples. And I still could have leaned it out more, as it was only runing 220! This buggy IS SWEET!!!!!!

I wonder what else on the Mayhem is carried over...
Since the rumor generally is that the Mayhem was spawned from Losi, it makes a bit of sense that they'd use some Losi parts. I had read a few threads in other places that seems to want to not believe that the Mayhem was a Losi-dreamed ride. But since the LST parts are a direct fit, it's hard to argue that the Mayhem did NOT come from Losi. I just wonder why Losi decided not to put their name on it.

So where can I find aftermarket rims for this thing? I would like to get some black rims (not dish wheels) for it.

Sgt. Blamo: You had me worried for a min there :D

haven't checked but why couldn't we use they same after market rims that would fit a MBX5 o Kyosho buggy?

I wasn't aware that you could use the same rims. That is certainly good to know :)

perhaps you can put those special Hyper rims on it
they come in 4 colours, black also

So is everyone sticking the alum diff housings into the Mayhem? I know the LST diff housings are weak and have been reported to break easily.... maybe this is not the case with the buggy since the wheels/tires are smaller.

OH YEA, just recieved my Mayhem PRO ARR today!!!

I will buy some just for their beauty
in the mayhem these housings are better supported

I am now officially in the club. I got my Mayhem RTR in the mail yesterday. I spent pretty much the whole night going over it and I'm not done yet. This is my first buggy so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I like it. It seems solid. I did make some minor adjustments so far. There was a ton of slop in the center dogbones. So I pulled the front end and rear end and placed a small ring of fuel tubing in the drive cups which limit the play and rattle in the driveline. I also noticed that the threadlocking was good with the exception of the small screws that hold the top portions of the chassis braces to the wing mount and front diff. I will lock them up better tonight. I also see a little oil near the diffs so I'm going to make sure they're sealed up nice before I run it. And lastly, the rear wing was kinda deformed when it arrived. Looks like pressure from the packing held it bent and it won't straighten. I've got it sitting over my heater duct with a little weight on it to gently coax it back to flat. Hopefully that will work. And lastly, that air cleaner is driving me nuts. It seems when I put the body on, it pushes down on the air cleaner so much that I'm afraid it's going to interfere with the throttle/brake linkage.

I was hoping to say that soon, but it looks like Rocknbil gets to since he won the lotto. :argue: Damn, and I need a practice buggy too. Good luck with your new buggies Candyman, and Rocknbil.

Thanks. I'm drooling over it. But its 15F out right now and there's no way I can drive it. And more snow on the way....
