I was asked to fix a Rc buggy for a friend of my parents, so I had to order 1 part for it. A one way bearing. Its about the size of a nickel, and about as tall as 4 or 5 nickels stancked on each other.. Check out the box they shipped it in...lol..

The box says "Nutrigrain Strawberry bars" on it, and is all scribble out...lol (not a big deal, I'm a fan of recycling I guess, just pretty unprofessional from a Big company..

Heres the bearing in the box..Nothing a envelope couldnt handle..lol.. Plus they had enough packaging to have a window not break in..lol

I just thought it was kinda funny. Good thing they only charged me $4.00 for shipping. Still a little high, but I'm sure they lost sending that package..lol :celebrate:
Go Horizon Hobby..lol

they coulda use the padded envelope and been fine!! wow lol they recycle the box then use 4 trees worth or paper to pack it with!!! lol

LOL I have had things I have bought on ebay like that, doesn't make sense they probally diddnt make any money after send that lol

That's how Horizon Hobby keeps their employees from stealing boxes from work.

Could you imagine the size of box they would send a monster truck in, probally use a frigerator box at least you would know when its arrived because you here beep beep beep as the forklift come to the door LMAO!

LOL.. no kidding.. I got it and kind of set it aside cuz I didnt really know what it was and it was in my moms name (Had to use her credit card) so later, I walked by it and saw the Horizon hobby return address and just started laughing, cuz the one way bearing was the ONLY thing I order, and the only thing in there besides aboout 3 pounds of paper..lol.. The box was 20 inches long, 12 inches wide and 9 inches tall....LMFAO!!!

LMFAO! that is too funny!

thats funny my famly on my dads side would recycle birthday cards and just skribble out the name and right in the new one. That is funny though they probable lost 5 on the box

i bet someone thought your order for just a oneway was funny, and thought they would play a joke of thier own on you, hence the box.

WOAH!
Now thats bad!

Imagine the size of the box and the amount of packing material if you had ordered a full RC kit or something along those lines. They would have needed an 18-wheeler just to bring it to you.

What kinda pisses me off is, it was $4.00 shipping, which wasn't to bad, but since it was in a big ass box, it was sent snail mail, and I got it like a week and like 2 days..Otherwise I could have paid a extra $12 for 2-3 day shipping.. Oh and this was from Illinois to Minnesota.. I swear they could have delivered it on a peddle bike in the same amount of time..lol

I ordered an antenna to replace an old xr3i and got it in a tiny box.shipped it with like 3 something ups ground. That box looks horrible. Mine looked fresh as yours looked embarassing for a big HS.

I was just shocked how unprofessional it was done. Like I said, Luckily I'm not a stickler or a tight ass like that, but I know I would NEVER ship any of my vinyl out in a box that was blacked out like that. And luckily I wasn't in a big hurry, otherwise I would have bitched. O well

I bet that box is bigger than the one that I sent you the M3 lid in LOL and it only weighed in at 3 lbs so I KNOW they lost money on the shipping cause it was like 8 bucks fex ex, sorry about the tracking # if I were you and I got a # that didn't work I would have freaked out thinking it was a scam or something, hope you like the lid, can't wait to see it put to good use

Its on the shelf right now waiting for the paint to come in the mail. I actually just got done putting the masks on about 10 minutes ago. I always get HUGE brain farts trying to think up a design, so I've been staring at it for the past couple of days trying to figure out what to do..lol
But yeah I ended up getting them on the same day actually, and they were almost the exact same size..lol.. Ill be sure to post up some pics of the lid in the next week or so. Thanks again!

you bet, there are lots of M3 painting ideas on the internet but I really couldn't find much that I liked, the fun of the M series has always been under the hood and at all four corners, they are an amazing machine to drive
