I think I may have already asked Ralph, but what's the major advantage ofa 7-channel over a 6-channel for a heli? If I remember correctly 6 is all you need unless you start doing scale stuff like you got on your 400.

PaulC,thanks for some good information  I think one of the biggest problems I have is I'm trying to fly in my living room but at this house that's too small for this heli and an inexperienced pilot.

I put some training gear on it tonight and that helps a lot but geesh, this thing is hard to fly. I think I'm gaining a little on it though.

Additional options. Lights, retracts, gyro gain and other scale accessories.
The standard channels can be tweaked or set to your preferences for low or high rates, etc., but the more sophisticated the heli gets, the more channels you want to run.

Before computerized radios, my current heli would have needed a 12 channel FM transmitter at over $2000 to do what this one does with 7 channels.

I made some short flights today, still can't get it all trimmed in the way I think it should be. Damaged rotors are starting to add up :hehe: If you look close in this pic,all 4 are damaged. I definately need more room to fly
