I just found this on another forum.
Is it the truth? Who knows.
It seems if this was the issue they would have just rented space from another hosting service until their issue was solved.
Never the less this is the most current rumor and I wish them luck in regaining their user base.

I just got off the phone with James after talking to him for about 20 minutes and I figured I would post the actual TRUTH about what's going on with the site, since there seems to be a plethora of false information out there. The ISP of the ISP that hosts Maxxtraxx went bankrupt. The ISP that went bankrupt is in another state. When the ISP went bankrupt, the bank went over to the building and locked the building up. It was a couple weeks before the ISP that actually hosts Maxxtraxx knew what was going on, as they were attempting to access the database at the other ISP with no luck and their phone calls were going un-answered, because, well, there was no one in the building to answer the calls. The hardware that Maxxtraxx is stored on is actually owned by Maxxtraxx. Because it was in another state, they had to send invoices to the bank with serial numbers of all the equipment as proof that they actually DID own the equipment so that they could get the equipment back. They've submitted proof to get the equipment back and the equpiment has been released back to them. It's now just a matter of getting everything set back up and getting everything back online. The downtime at Maxxtraxx is not their fault, and isn't even the fault of their ISP, but their ISP's ISP. If you want to bash Maxxtraxx, that's fine, and if you choose to stay here, that's fine and I wish this site much success. However, I felt the need to actually post correct information, and please refrain from bashing someone or something until you actually know the facts. Thanks.
