Traxxas stock wheels are failing by the dozens, it seems, from several posts I have read . All 4 of mine have failed, so I don't want replace them with stock. Stock has about 1" of sidewall on the outside and 1/2" on the inside, I haven't found aftermarket set up this way
what is the off set of the wheels? why take belted tires off?

I would think that the off set would be on the center of the hub mounting position ,that being said ,that appears
to have no off set ,as the center is closer to the outside of the rim!

Now if the center where the wheels nut is further inside the rim ,it would have an off set!...

I purchased 2.8 trenches, with 17 mm x 1/2 " off set hubs and they hit suspension. I have ordered intigy 6mm and 12mm extensions, hopefully this does it. I have a feeling pushing the wheel out in this way will break things, but I do enjoy wrenching.

Wrench on and let us know. I'm thinking of getting one and it would be nice to know what I'd have to go through.
Good luck

I ended up putting trencher 2.8 belted on. I used intigy 13mm extensions. I have ran it 3 times, so far so good. The added 26 mm width sure made it put the power to the ground and does not rollover as much.
