Man Moose are stupid!

Last thursday I was on my wat to work at 04:45 at just about dawn. Well I come around a corner and here is this moose standing right in the middle of the freakin road. I slam on my breaks and swerve to avoid the stupid thing and instead of going the direction he is facing he turns around and runs back to where he came from, which was right in front of me! Here are some pics of my car, and yes I did kill the moose, he was a yearling and only weighed about 200lbs. I can't imagine hitting one of the 800 - 900lb beasts, if I would have hit one of those I prob wouldn't be here today! Here are the pics.

He must have had to take a poop! haha look at the last pic on my windows.

I just got the word today that its going to be fixed. But the car has 160,000 miles so I'm just going to fix it so it passes Maine inspection (roof, windshield and headlight) and pocked the rest of the cash. Then just drive it until it dies because I drive 120 miles a day I don't need anything new just yet.

Wow, you were lucky. It always scared me to drive on certain parkways in New York early in the morning because of deer. I had several close calls.
