Ok so after the last couple days of screwing with my maxx for a few hours and it never running right I'm going to pick up my slash on Monday along with a couple 7 cell 6000 mah batteries. Ill prolly get a couple lipos in the near future, but I can't afford the charger and batteries and truck at this time. My plans are to leave the truck stock so that I can race it at the local track. The only have a stock slash class at the moment. There are a few other classes though. I'm about to head down there for the day. I'm going to take some pics of the action today. I'm also going to try the maxx one more time, but from what I've heard the track is too slick for a 2wd maxx. It just wants to do dougnuts. The other thing I'm debating is that when I get my settlement... Savage Flux. I really wanna see how bad ass this thing really is. The videos looks ruthless. Ill post pics of the track action and new truck soon..
I did on accident hit a guy in the head with a Jato. The track was getting a lil dry and I went to hit the doubles and as soon as it got to the bottom.. It spun hit the hill at an angle and smack.. right in the side of the head. It was an accident, however the guy grabbed the jato and slung it hitting the pit ramp. It wasn't my Jato, but the guy that did own it got really pissed off. Too make a long story short.. we ended up having to leave before there was trouble and a permanent ban from the track. Drama.. There was a guy there that had a Losi 2.0 that he converted to brushless. HOLY CRAP was that thing bad ass. It was smoking racing nitro cars. He ALMOST cleared a quadruple. 2 more feet and he would have had it. That only makes me wanna go electric more and just keep a couple nitros for good measure.
