I have a MadSpeed Drift King, 1/10th brushless 4WD drift car. I am looking for some good all around rubber tires that wont shred within 50 feet, like the cheap ebay ones do, to replace the hard plastic drift tires with, and make the car more of a rally car. I have went through 2 sets of the cheap ones, both within a few minutes of putting them on. They tend to pretty much shred the center completely out of them (the car has a lot of low end torque, even after i have tried multiple gearing combinations to calm it down some). I am looking for something that will work for any surface, from asphalt to low grass, and a little dirt. I know one tire isnt usually recommended for every terrain, but, I'm just looking to bash it a bit around where i live, so, a decent "all purpose" would be good for it. I do know that a good asphalt tire wont be as good off road, and vice versa, but, i will take the compromise, if it gets the car to more than just constantly slide around in big circles.

You can never go wrong with prolines. The have some good all-terrain and street tire options depending on your wheel size. Yeah, they can be pricey, but you get what you pay for. Remember the old RC adage, "Buy cheap, buy twice."

I also hear decent things about some of the Duratrax line, but never used them personally.

What i need are a set that will hold up to the power the car has, and, TBH, I'm not sure which would be best for it. I dont mind spending the money if they will last and hold up to that car. but, i dont want it to be a waste. I'm not even sure what the wheel size is. I got this car as a package deal along with two short course trucks, and figured i would let my kid bash on it, if i can get it to get traction. All i find on the proline sight are truck and buggy tires, and the wheels on this are quite a bit smaller than any of my short course wheels.

I tried to look for a manual or parts list for that but all the sites just give the part number and no sizes. Sorry couldn't help you further. Unfortunately proline and most other tire manufacturers cater to the most common sizes.
At this point your best bet is to figure out what type of hubs and size (12mm hexes, pins, etc) and get an entire new wheel/tire set, which honestly s going to cost you about 75% of the price of that entire car it looks like.

The wheels are 12mm hex, and they are 1,9 inch on road/rally style. As for price, considering the car new costs $290, i doubt that tires are that expensive. This is the actual car i have, https://www.nitrorcx.com/03c506-driftking-sk-silver-brushless-light.html In the parts list, the only tires/wheels it shows are the plastic slicks, and contacting NitroRCX got me absolutely nowhere, which is why i came here.

Oh sorry I saw the sale price :D
You can prob get some new 2.2" wheels to make a rally out of it as 12mm hexes are a pretty standard size and then you'll have a slew of options from quite a few different manufacturers such as proline, duratrax, jconcepts, etc. All of those are pretty high quality and you shouldn't have any issues with them that you mentioned.

If you can find them you want these https://www.hpiracing.com/en/part/4468
Currently the only place that lists them as being "in stock" is Active Powersports(don't even bother trying to order from these goons, they show things as being in stock that actually aren't even in production anymore, you place an order then they email you a week later stating that the part is on backorder.) Just like with most things HPI I am afraid they went the way of the Dodo :(
They make a Chinese knock of them, not sure how they do though https://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-RC-HSP-HPI-Car-602-8014-Rally-Tires-Wheel-D-65mm-W-26mm-Rim-hex-12mm/331931100716?epid=12024459355&hash=item4d48a2a62c:g:e9wAAOSwaB5Xowbb

To add another new wrinkle to this whole thing, the manual is actually wrong. They are actually 26MM (1.02 inch) wheels, so 1.9's might even be way too big. Now i am hunting for a set of 26MM tires and wheels, but, every one i find has letter designations like m compound, or color designations, like yellow compound, so now i get to figure out what all that means. These ones dont say what compound they are; https://www.amainhobbies.com/tamiya-rally-block-tire-set-2-tam50476/p499629 and these say they are a white compound; https://www.amainhobbies.com/schumacher-sst-rally-24-25-2-white-schu6630/p385294?v=240200
I also found 31MM wheels, so, now I'm even more lost.

The Tamiya Rally Blocks are great for offroad, however they might wear down pretty fast onroad. I have some eBay knock off Rally Blocks and they are great offroad, I never had a chance to try them on the road much as one of the cheap crappy ebay wheels broke, then I sold the car I was using them on so they just sit in my parts tote.

The rally blocks are actually the only 1/10 rally tires i have found, and i have been doing research and looking since july for tires for this thing. Every other tire i find is either 1/8th scale, or strictly touring on road type tires. It seems r/c rallying isnt very popular in this country.
