LRP z.28R with revo, what else do i need?

so this picco motor is pushed back again. not sure whats going on, in process of waiting for emails back from team picco and ofna.

thinking for $30 less i get the LRP z28r motor. i guess i need a different engine mount to the new era .26 picco mount i got. will the traxxas BB mount work or is there another mount i can get thats not $80?

i have the buku clutch for the trx3.3 and works for the picco 26 jlr, do i need a new clutch system?

and will the engine clear the rear a-arm without mods?

anything else i need to know about?

also I'm planning on getting the 086 exhaust.

I know the new era mount works. I think you will need a bb clutch.

thinking of going with this, this will all work? not keen to pay $80 for new era mount plus shipping, i know there mounts are great as i have the one for the picco 26 motor...

your going to need the new era mount. i did the same thing and the bb mount will not clear the a-arm. you might want to upgrade the clutch as well

So that clutch above won't work? The m2C? I also have rpm a-arms will the BB traxxas mount work with them?

hey guys, hope someone else can give some input. just found some extra money so might go with the new era mount. this is my shopping list at a main atm. basically going to be out of pocket for the mount compared to waiting for ever and a day for this picco. if i get some promising emails in the next 24hrs (your friday) i may wait for the picco. but the extra 1HP is temping and i think i want it. apparently easier to tune too.

Reviewing your list, it looks like your all set to run the Z28 power plant...
You have chosen the best Exhaust and motor mount on the market for this particular project. The only thing not on your list are steel Drive Shafts, you may find your self tweaking those plastic shafts pretty quickly me thinks...
I picked up a brand new LRP Z28 off of Ebay for $145 shipped last week.

Nice buy. I know I could have possibly got one cheaper else where but when I get $25 off the order and its being shipped to Australia I'm better off buying from one place. I was pissed enough that I had to buy another new era mount as that's another $20 shipping plus &80 for the mount.

I wanted steel drive shafts but a main didn't have any in stock. I have a full set of shaft shafts anyway plug a fair few spares for inbetween
