losi xxl, revo (5309) hpi savage

what rc nitro is better out of these 3 hpi savage, losi lst xxl, traxxas revo 3.3 (5309) just wondering what is the best allround because I'm thinking of getting one of these by christmas this year.

XXL or Revo. Savages can handle bashing, but handle like a brick and their drive cups wear like butter on a hot day.

Revos are very nimble and still quite bash-able.

The XXL is good compromise between the two others, big but nimble for it's size and still able to take a beating. And you get a kick-ass radio with it.

I'm totally new to Nitro, but not RC. Owned many, many electrics over the years...actually everything up to the current LiPo technology battery packs. Anyways, I'm totally in the same boat trying to decide which truck to get. I'm considering the T-Maxx 3.3, Revo 3.3, Team Associated MGT 8.0 and the Losi LST XXL. First, from several weeks of reseach and chatting with a local hobby crib, the REVO is the way to go if you're considering Traxxas. Overall, decent bashing truck, but optimized for racing. I wish it was the size of the T-Maxx, but nonetheless. Stock suspension is definitely better than T-Maxx. I was totally ready to get the MGT 8.0. Big block motor, 1/8th the scale, which for me is a plus. Personally, I want a 1/5th truck, but seriously reliable brands are few and parts cost a pretty penny. Unfortunately, the 1/5th market isn't there for the enthusiast. Anyways, I am seriously considering the Losi XXL now. Nice footprint and 454 big block. Nice low end torque and some really respective speed. I wish price point was a little more aggressive compared to the other 3. Not sure if you caught this clip on the XXL.

Really curious whatcha gonna decide on.

yeah I'm pretty mutch deciding between the losi xxl and the savage line up (xl, x, ss, ss 5.9 or flux) but hey I'm probs gonna keeps saving up for one for christmas which is a while away.
