Opened my ten T today. Checked it all out charged up the starter battery. Put in some fuel and started to break her in. I was 1/8 into the first tank just at idle and a very slow roll and temps sky rocketed. Glad it came with the ten T came DX3S remote. I would have never known. It hit 250 and alarm was screaming. I tried to rich it out more and more. I turned the LSN almost 4 turns and the HSN 3 full turns. They were already a few turns out at factory settings. Any ideas? Could it be AIR leak? I have the temp down to 215 if its moving. At idle she goes up. I feel like if I go any richer Ill pop the needles right out. I'm so upset. I need help!!!

Possible to have an air leak but as long as you have thin trail of smoke at WOT then I wouldnt worry about the temps unless they get over 270. Then I would start worrying.

If I run the motor for more then 2 minutes it keeps getting hotter and hotter. I hit 270 and shut it immediately. I have the lsn and hsn out so far they are about to pop out completely. I get a good stream of blue smoke when I throttle it but still keeps climing.

Don't rely too heavily on the readings on the DX3s. My temperature reading said 250 degrees on the engine when the temp gun read it at 230.

If its getting that hot that fast then I would seal the engine, check the fuel tank for airleaks, and replace all the fuel tubing just to make sure its not an air leak. if its still getting that hot that fast and the needles are set to factory settings then I would take it down to your LHS that has a guy that works on RCs and have him take a look at it.

Well I took it apart. Sealed everything and put it back together. There was something stuck in the HSN stopping fuel from flowing normally. Now she is running fine. Thanks for all the ideas.
